Possible Causes
Hair and fibers wrapped around caster axle, Worn caster bearing, Debris lodged in caster housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and flip it over on a soft surface.
- 1. Remove caster wheel: Pull the front caster straight up to remove it from its socket (some models may require a small tool).
- 2. Clean axle and housing: Remove hair and debris from the caster axle and the socket. Use tweezers for tight spaces.
- 3. Check wheel rotation: Spin the caster wheel by hand. If it feels rough or sticks, replace the Electrolux caster wheel assembly.
- 4. Reinstall caster: Push the cleaned or new caster back into the socket until it clicks.
- 5. Test navigation: Run a short cleaning cycle and observe if the robot moves smoothly and turns correctly.
