Possible Causes
Dirty or oxidized charging contacts on robot or dock, Dock power adapter not plugged in or faulty, Broken charging contact springs on robot, Internal charging circuit failure on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging dock from the wall before cleaning contacts.
- Check dock power: Confirm the dock's power adapter is firmly plugged into the wall and dock, and that the outlet has power.
- Clean contacts: Use a dry cloth to clean the metal charging contacts on both the robot and the dock. For light oxidation, use a pencil eraser gently, then wipe clean.
- Inspect contacts: Ensure the robot's charging pins are not bent or stuck. They should move slightly under spring tension.
- Test charging: Plug the dock back in, place the robot on the dock, and look for charging indicators (LEDs, app status).
- If E10 persists: The Charging Contact Assembly on the robot or the Charging Dock itself may be defective. Replace the faulty component. If both are good, the main PCB charging circuit may need replacement.
