Possible Causes

Hair and fibers wrapped around caster axle, Caster bearing seized, Caster bracket bent, Caster wheel sensor (if present) fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot.

  • Remove caster: Pull the front caster wheel straight up to remove it from its socket (some models may require a screwdriver).
  • Clean axle: Remove hair, threads, and debris from the wheel axle and socket.
  • Check rotation: Ensure the wheel spins freely and swivels smoothly. If rough or melted, replace the Front Caster Wheel Assembly.
  • Reinstall and test: Push the caster back into place until it clicks, then run a test cleaning.
  • If E19 persists: The caster sensor (if equipped) or nearby wiring may be damaged, requiring internal inspection and possible sensor board replacement.
