Possible Causes
Loose main brush motor connector on main PCB, Damaged main brush motor wiring harness, Failed main brush motor, Faulty main control board motor driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off the robot and remove it from the dock. If possible, remove the battery or ensure the power switch is OFF.
- Check for obvious obstructions: Remove and clean the main brush as in E1. Confirm the brush spins freely by hand.
- Inspect motor wiring (advanced users): Remove the bottom cover screws and carefully lift the cover. Locate the main brush motor and follow its wiring harness to the main PCB. Ensure the connector is fully seated and not corroded or burnt.
- Look for damage: Check the harness for pinched or broken wires. If damaged, replace the Main Brush Motor Harness or complete motor assembly.
- Test again: Reassemble the bottom cover, power on, and start a cleaning cycle.
- If E2 remains: The motor windings or the motor driver on the main PCB may be defective. Replace the Main Brush Motor Assembly. If a new motor does not resolve it, the Main Control Board likely needs replacement by a qualified technician.
