Possible Causes

Dust bin full or clogged, Primary filter or HEPA filter heavily clogged, Suction inlet blocked by debris, Fan (vacuum) motor failing or obstructed

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove it from the dock. Do not run the robot without filters unless the manual explicitly allows it for testing.

  • Empty dust bin: Remove the dust bin and empty all debris.
  • Clean filters: Take out the primary and HEPA filters. Tap them gently over a trash can to remove dust. If washable (check Eureka manual), rinse with water and allow to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling.
  • Check suction path: Inspect the dust bin inlet and suction channel inside the robot for blockages. Remove any clogs.
  • Test suction: Reinstall the bin and filters, power on, and start cleaning. Listen for normal fan sound.
  • If E8 persists or fan is silent: The Suction Fan Motor Assembly may be burnt out or jammed. Replacement requires opening the robot, disconnecting the fan module, and installing a new one. This is best done by a qualified technician.
