Possible Causes

Main roller brush jammed with hair or debris, Main brush bearings seized, Main brush motor failing, Main brush gearbox obstructed or damaged

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the power switch on the side or bottom of the Honiture robot to OFF and remove it from the charging dock before working on the brush.

  • Inspect the main roller brush: Turn the robot upside down. Release the main brush cover latch and remove the main roller brush. Cut away hair, threads, and pet fur from the bristles and both end caps using scissors. Do not pull hard on the bristles.
  • Clean brush bearings: Pull off the end caps (if removable) and remove any wrapped hair or dust from the bearing area. Wipe with a dry cloth. Ensure the brush spins freely by hand.
  • Check the brush cavity: Inspect the brush housing for stuck objects (toys, stones, wood chips). Remove all debris and wipe the cavity clean.
  • Test the brush motor: With the brush removed, turn the robot ON and start a cleaning cycle. Look into the brush cavity to see if the brush drive spindle turns. If it does not move or makes grinding noises, the main brush motor module is likely faulty.
  • Reassemble and test: Reinstall the main brush and cover, ensuring they are fully seated. Restart the robot and check if the error clears.
  • If the error persists: Replace the Main Brush Motor Assembly or the entire Main Brush Module specific to your Honiture model (e.g., Q6 Pro main brush module). This usually requires removing bottom screws and disconnecting a small motor harness from the main PCB. If you are not comfortable opening the unit, contact a technician.
