Possible Causes
Carpet too thick or high pile, Threshold higher than design limit, Drive wheel motors overloaded, Debris jammed in wheel gears
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.
- Inspect environment: Identify where the robot stops with E16. Check for very thick rugs, cables, or high thresholds.
- Remove obstacles: Tuck away cables and remove or relocate rugs that are too thick for the robot's design.
- Clean wheel assemblies: Turn the robot over and remove hair and debris from the drive wheels and axles.
- Test on flat floor: Run a cleaning cycle on a hard, flat surface. If E16 still appears, a Drive Wheel Motor may be drawing excessive current and need replacement.
