Possible Causes
Lithium battery pack degraded, Battery connector loose, Battery protection circuit tripped, Charging contacts dirty causing undercharge
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock.
- Check battery level: Place the robot on the dock and allow it to charge for at least 4–6 hours. Confirm that the charging indicator behaves normally.
- Clean charging contacts: Wipe the robot's charging pads and the dock's metal contacts with a dry cloth. Lightly polish with isopropyl alcohol if oxidized.
- Inspect battery connection: Remove the bottom cover to access the battery compartment. Ensure the battery connector is firmly plugged into the main PCB and that there is no corrosion.
- Test runtime: After a full charge, start a cleaning cycle. If the robot shuts down within a few minutes and E8 reappears, the Battery Pack is likely worn out.
- Replace battery: Remove the old battery pack (usually secured with screws or a strap) and install a new, compatible Honiture Robot Vacuum Battery Pack with the same voltage and capacity rating.
