Robot vacuum does not return to the charging dock automatically or wanders until the battery is low.

Safety first: No internal work is needed initially.

• Reposition dock: Place the dock against a flat wall with at least 1.5 m of clear space in front and 0.5 m on each side, as recommended by Honiture.
• Clean IR windows: Wipe the small dark plastic windows on the front of the dock and the robot with a soft cloth.
• Avoid interference: Keep the dock out of direct sunlight and away from reflective surfaces that can scatter IR signals.
• Test return-to-dock: Start the robot a few meters from the dock and press the Home button. If it still cannot find the dock, the Dock IR Emitter or robot's IR Receiver may be faulty and require replacement.
