Possible Causes
Drive wheels worn or smooth, Suspension springs clogged with debris, Front caster wheel jammed, Environment not suitable (very high pile carpets)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.
- Clean drive wheels: Remove hair and fibers from around the drive wheels and their axles. Wipe the rubber treads with a damp cloth to restore grip.
- Service front caster: Pull out the front caster wheel assembly. Remove hair wrapped around the axle and clean the socket. Ensure the wheel spins and swivels freely. Replace the Front Caster Wheel Assembly if damaged.
- Check suspension: Press down on each drive wheel to confirm it can move up and down. Remove any debris blocking the springs.
- Adjust environment: Use threshold ramps or remove very thick rugs that exceed the robot's climbing capability.
