Possible Causes
Stuck front caster wheel, Debris in caster socket, Faulty height sensor or hall sensor on caster, Broken caster bracket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over on a soft surface.
- Step 1 – Remove caster wheel: Pull the front caster wheel straight up to remove it from its socket (some models may require a small screwdriver to pry it out).
- Step 2 – Clean socket: Remove dust, hair, and debris from the caster socket and wheel axle. Ensure the wheel spins freely when reinserted.
- Step 3 – Inspect sensor (if present): Some Medion models use a sensor under the caster. Check for broken wires or a dislodged magnet. Reseat any loose connectors.
- Step 4 – Replace caster assembly: If the wheel is cracked, wobbly, or the sensor is damaged, replace the Medion front caster wheel assembly.
