Possible Causes
Clogged dustbin or filter, Blocked suction channel, Faulty airflow or pressure sensor, Weak suction motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dustbin before inspecting the suction path.
- Step 1 – Empty dustbin: Open and empty the Medion dustbin. Tap it gently to remove compacted dust.
- Step 2 – Clean filter: Remove the HEPA or foam filter from the bin. Tap it against a trash can to dislodge dust. If washable (check manual), rinse with water and let it dry completely for 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Step 3 – Check suction channel: Look into the suction inlet and channels for blockages (paper, toys, etc.). Remove any obstructions with a brush or tweezers.
- Step 4 – Test suction: Reassemble and start the robot. Listen for normal suction motor sound. If suction is weak or E16 returns, the airflow sensor or motor may be faulty.
- Step 5 – Replace filter or motor: Replace the Medion filter if it is heavily clogged or damaged. If the motor is noisy or not spinning, replace the suction motor assembly.
