How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the robot on a flat, level floor and turn it OFF.
- Step 1 – Reset position: With the robot upright on a level surface, turn it ON and start a cleaning cycle. Avoid lifting or tilting it during startup.
- Step 2 – Inspect for damage: If the robot was dropped, check the housing and internal mounts for cracks or misalignment.
- Step 3 – Check tilt sensor: Open the robot and locate the tilt sensor (often a small switch or ball sensor on the mainboard). Ensure it is firmly soldered and its connector (if separate) is secure.
- Step 4 – Replace tilt sensor: If the sensor is stuck or physically damaged, replace the Medion tilt sensor or mainboard (if integrated).
