How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging base before inspecting it. Do not short battery terminals.
- Step 1 – Check outlet and adapter: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Inspect the Medion charging base and adapter for damage. If the dock has an LED, verify it lights when plugged in.
- Step 2 – Try a different outlet: Move the dock to another known-good outlet and test again.
- Step 3 – Inspect battery connection: Turn the robot upside down, remove the battery cover, and ensure the battery pack connector is firmly plugged into the mainboard.
- Step 4 – Check for life signs: With the robot on the dock, look for any LEDs or sounds. If there is still no response, the battery or mainboard may be defective.
- Step 5 – Replace battery: Install a new compatible Medion battery pack and charge for several hours. If the robot still remains dead, the mainboard or internal fuse likely needs professional replacement.
