Possible Causes
Aged Li‑ion cells in battery pack, Faulty battery management circuit in pack, Poor contact between battery and mainboard, Frequent partial charging cycles over time
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before opening the battery compartment.
- Step 1 – Confirm charging: Place the robot on the dock and verify that the charging indicator on the robot lights up. If not, troubleshoot the dock first.
- Step 2 – Full charge: Leave the robot on the dock for at least 4–5 hours. Then start a cleaning cycle and time how long it runs.
- Step 3 – Inspect battery: Remove the battery cover and check for swelling, corrosion, or damage to the Medion battery pack. Reseat the connector.
- Step 4 – Replace battery: If runtime is still very short (a few minutes), replace the battery pack with a new, compatible Medion robot vacuum battery.
