How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before working on the side brush.
- Step 1 – Check brush attachment: Ensure the Medion side brush is firmly attached and the retaining screw (if present) is tight.
- Step 2 – Clean brush hub: Remove the brush and clear hair and debris from the hub and motor shaft.
- Step 3 – Test motor: With the brush removed, run the robot and observe if the motor shaft spins. If not, proceed to internal inspection.
- Step 4 – Inspect wiring: Remove the bottom cover and verify the side brush motor connector is secure on the mainboard.
- Step 5 – Replace motor module: If the motor is silent or seized, replace the Medion side brush motor assembly.
