Possible Causes

Clogged filters restricting airflow, Blocked main brush or suction path, Operating in very high ambient temperature, Failing motor drawing excess current

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot and let it cool for at least 30 minutes in a shaded, ventilated area.

  • Check airflow path: Remove and empty the dustbin. Clean all filters thoroughly and ensure they are dry.
  • Inspect brushes: Remove the main brush and side brush. Clear all hair and debris from bristles and bearings.
  • Check vents: Inspect any exhaust vents on the robot body and clear dust buildup.
  • Environmental check: Avoid running the robot in rooms above 35°C (95°F) or in direct sunlight for long periods.
  • Test again: After cooling and cleaning, restart the robot. If E12 recurs quickly, the suction or drive motor may be failing and should be inspected by a technician.

Warning: Do not cover the robot with cloths or run it under furniture with very low clearance that blocks vents; this can cause repeated overheating.
