Possible Causes

Dust bag full in base station, Clogged air channel between robot and dock, Dirty or blocked dock filter, Faulty dock suction motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the auto-empty base station from the wall.

  • Check dust bag: Open the base station cover and inspect the dust bag. If it is full or very heavy, replace it with a new Neabot-compatible bag.
  • Inspect air path: Remove the robot from the dock and inspect the docking port and robot dust port for clogs. Clear any debris.
  • Clean dock filter: If the base has a filter, remove and clean or replace it according to the manual.
  • Test suction: Plug the base back in, dock the robot, and trigger a manual empty cycle from the app. Listen for strong suction from the base.
  • Service dock: If there is little or no suction and E18 persists, the dock suction motor or internal ducting may be faulty and require service.

Warning: Do not operate the auto-empty base without a dust bag installed; dust can be blown into the room and into the motor.
