Possible Causes
Dust clogging suction inlet or cyclone, Blocked air path in dustbin, Failing suction fan motor, Damaged fan impeller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the dustbin.
- Empty the dustbin: Open the dustbin and empty all debris. Tap gently to dislodge fine dust.
- Clean filters: Remove the primary filter and HEPA filter (if present). Tap them gently against a trash can to remove dust. If washable, rinse with water and allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Inspect air channels: Look into the suction inlet on the robot and the dustbin outlet for clogs. Remove any visible debris with a soft brush.
- Check for abnormal noise: Reinstall the (dry) filters and dustbin, power on the robot, and start suction. Listen for grinding or high-pitched squealing, which indicates fan damage.
- Replace fan module if needed: If E7 persists and suction is weak or noisy, the suction fan motor module may need replacement.
Warning: Never run the robot without filters installed; dust can enter the motor and cause permanent damage.
