Possible Causes

Dock placed in a corner or behind furniture, IR docking signal blocked, Map data corrupted, Faulty docking IR sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the dock is plugged in and its indicator light is on.

  • Reposition dock: Move the dock to an open area with clear space around it as recommended in the manual.
  • Clear obstacles: Remove objects directly in front of or beside the dock that may block the IR signal.
  • Remap home: Delete the existing map in the Neabot app and perform a new full mapping run so the robot learns the dock location accurately.
  • Test manual return: Press the Home/Dock button and observe if the robot can approach the dock from a short distance.

Warning: Do not place the dock on thick carpet or unstable surfaces; this can misalign the charging contacts and confuse docking sensors.
