Possible Causes
Dirty front IR sensors, Bumper switches sticking, LDS or camera lens dirty (on mapping models), Firmware navigation bug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot.
- Clean sensors: Wipe all front-facing and side sensor windows with a soft, dry cloth. On camera-based models, gently clean the camera lens.
- Check bumper: Press and release the front bumper across its width to ensure it moves freely and triggers clicks from internal switches.
- Update firmware: Use the Neabot app to check for and install navigation-related firmware updates.
- Test in open area: Run the robot in a room with minimal furniture to see if behavior improves.
Warning: Do not apply stickers or covers over sensor windows; this can permanently impair obstacle detection.
