How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the robot OFF and remove it from the dock before working on the brush.
- Remove the main brush: Flip the robot over. Release the brush guard latch and lift off the guard. Pull out the main brush.
- Clean the brush: Use scissors to cut away hair, threads, and fibers wrapped around the bristles and ends. Remove debris from the brush housing.
- Inspect end caps and bearings: Remove the end caps (if removable) and clean any hair or dust from the bearings. Ensure the brush spins freely when held by the ends.
- Clean brush motor area: Look into the brush cavity and remove any lodged debris that could block rotation.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the brush and guard, ensuring they are seated correctly. Power the robot ON and start a cleaning cycle. If the error persists, the brush motor or gearbox may need replacement.
