Safety: Power OFF the robot before cleaning the LDS.
- Clean LDS window: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the transparent window around the laser turret. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
- Check for stickers or covers: Ensure no decorative stickers, tape, or covers are blocking the turret.
- Verify rotation: Power ON the robot and start a cleaning cycle while observing the turret. It should spin smoothly. If it does not spin, power OFF immediately.
- Reset the robot: Perform a reboot or factory reset as per the user manual to clear software-related vision errors.
- If still failing: The LDS motor or sensor may be defective. Replacing the LDS module usually resolves persistent Error 7.
