Neato robot displays 'Error 9: Please open my dirt bin' or 'Dirt bin is missing' even when the bin is installed.

Safety: Remove the robot from the dock and power it OFF.

• Remove and reseat bin: Take out the dust bin completely, check for cracks or warping, then firmly reinstall it until it clicks.
• Clean bin contacts/switch: Inspect the bin cavity for dust buildup around the bin-detect switch or contacts. Use a dry brush or compressed air to clean.
• Check bin latch: Ensure the latch mechanism on the bin is intact and holds the bin tightly in place.
• Test: Power ON the robot. If it still reports the bin as missing, the bin sensor or switch may need replacement.
