Possible Causes

One drive wheel slipping or dragging, LDS partial failure, Wheel encoder miscounting, Bumper sensor stuck on one side

Safety: Turn OFF the robot before inspection.

Check wheels: Ensure both drive wheels have similar traction and move freely. Clean debris from treads and wheel wells.
Clean LDS and sensors: Wipe the LDS window and front bumper sensors with a dry cloth.
Test on different surface: Try the robot on a hard floor to rule out rug slippage.
If spinning persists: A failing wheel encoder or LDS may be at fault and require module replacement.
