Neato Front caster wheel seizure

Neato robot's front caster wheel does not swivel freely, causing dragging and navigation issues.

Possible Causes

Hair wrapped around caster axle, Dirt packed in caster socket, Bent caster shaft, Worn caster bearing

Safety: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over.

Remove caster: Pull the front caster wheel straight out of its socket (on most models).
Clean axle and socket: Remove hair and debris from the axle and inside the socket using tweezers and a dry cloth.
Check rotation: Ensure the caster spins and swivels freely. If it feels rough or sticks, replace the caster assembly.
Reinstall: Push the caster back into place until it clicks.
