Proscenic Charging Dock / IR Receiver Error

Robot vacuum shows E11 and cannot find or use the charging dock properly.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the dock is on a flat floor and the power adapter is plugged into a working outlet.

Verify dock power:

  • Check that the dock's indicator light (if present) is on.
  • Try another outlet or adapter if the dock appears dead.

Clear the area:

  • Leave at least 0.5 m (1.5 ft) of clear space on each side of the dock and 1.5 m (5 ft) in front.
  • Remove obstacles like furniture legs, shoes, or cables near the dock.

Clean IR windows:

  • Wipe the small dark plastic windows on the front of the dock and the front/top of the robot with a microfiber cloth.

Manual docking test:

  • Place the robot about 1 m (3 ft) directly in front of the dock and press the Home/Recharge button.
  • Observe whether it approaches and docks correctly.

Advanced: If E11 persists and the dock has power, the IR transmitter in the dock or the IR receiver on the robot may be faulty. Replacement of the dock is straightforward; replacement of the robot's IR receiver requires opening the unit and should be done by a technician.
