Possible Causes
Weak Wi‑Fi signal at robot location, Incorrect Wi‑Fi password or unsupported band, Internal Wi‑Fi module fault, Firmware corruption affecting communication
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: There is no electrical hazard in network setup, but keep the robot on a stable surface.
Check Wi‑Fi environment:
- Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network (most Proscenic robots do not support 5 GHz only).
- Move the robot and dock closer to the router during setup.
Re-add the robot in the app:
- Reset Wi‑Fi on the robot (usually by holding the Wi‑Fi or power button until you hear a prompt; refer to your model's manual).
- In the Proscenic app, delete the existing device and add it again, entering the correct Wi‑Fi password.
Firmware update:
- If the robot connects intermittently, check in the app for firmware updates and apply them while the robot is on the dock.
Advanced: If E14 persists and the robot cannot be discovered by the app even in AP mode, the internal Wi‑Fi module or mainboard may be defective. This requires mainboard replacement by a service center.
