Possible Causes
Water tank not fully inserted, Mopping module detection switch dirty or stuck, Electrical contacts between tank and robot corroded, Tank magnet or sensor misaligned
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank. Do not turn the robot upside down with water in the tank.
Check tank installation:
- Inspect the water tank for cracks or deformation.
- Reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place.
Clean contacts and switches:
- If your model uses electrical contacts between the tank and robot, wipe them dry and clean with a soft cloth.
- Clean around the tank detection switch or sensor area on the robot body.
Inspect magnets/sensors:
- Some tanks use a magnet to trigger a reed switch. Ensure the magnet is still attached and not displaced.
Test:
- Power ON the robot without the tank to see if the error clears, then attach the tank and start a mopping cycle.
Advanced: If E15 persists with a known-good tank, the detection switch or sensor on the robot may be faulty and require professional repair.
