How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and unplug the dock if you need to move it.

Cool down:

  • Move the robot to a cool, shaded area.
  • Let it rest powered OFF for at least 20–30 minutes.

Check airflow:

  • Clean the dust bin, filters, and suction inlet to ensure proper airflow.
  • Do not operate the robot with a missing or saturated filter.

Environmental check:

  • Avoid using the robot in rooms above 35°C (95°F) or in direct sunlight for long periods.

Test:

  • After cooling and cleaning, power ON and start a cleaning cycle. If E16 recurs quickly, an internal temperature sensor or motor may be failing.

Advanced: Persistent overtemperature errors require inspection of the suction motor and mainboard temperature sensors by a technician.
