Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the robot on a firm, level floor away from speakers or strong magnets.
Reboot and recalibrate:
- Turn OFF the main power switch for 30 seconds, then ON.
- Some models support IMU calibration via button combination or app; follow the manual if available.
Start from dock:
- Place the robot on the charging dock and start cleaning from there to allow proper orientation.
Advanced: If E17 persists and the robot cannot drive straight, the IMU (gyroscope/accelerometer) on the mainboard may be defective. Mainboard replacement is typically required.
