How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the auto-empty base before cleaning around its suction port.
Check docking alignment:
- Ensure the base is on a flat surface and not rocking.
- Guide the robot manually onto the base so that the charging contacts and dust port align.
Clean contacts and ports:
- Wipe the charging contacts on both robot and base with a dry cloth.
- Inspect the dust collection port on the base and the matching port on the robot for blockages; remove any debris.
Power cycle:
- Unplug the base for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Place the robot on the base and wait to see if the base activates and the robot acknowledges it.
Advanced: If E19 continues, the communication board or suction motor in the base, or the docking interface on the robot, may be faulty. Contact service for base or robot interface repair.
