Possible Causes
Hair and debris wrapped around wheel axles, Wheel treads worn smooth, Robot stuck on thick carpet or threshold, Wheel suspension jammed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before handling the wheels.
Free the robot:
- Lift it off any obstacles, cables, or thick rugs.
Clean wheels:
- Turn the robot upside down and inspect both drive wheels.
- Cut and remove hair and threads from around the axles and wheel wells.
- Ensure the wheels can be pushed up and spring back freely.
Check surfaces:
- Avoid using the robot on very thick shag carpets or high thresholds that exceed the robot's climbing ability.
Advanced: If the wheels still slip or the robot cannot move on normal floors, the wheel treads or wheel modules may need replacement.
