Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock before servicing.
Restore airflow:
- Remove and empty the dust bin.
- Disassemble any internal cyclone parts and clear dust clumps.
- Remove and clean or replace the primary and HEPA filters.
- Inspect the suction inlet behind the main brush for lodged objects and remove them.
Test noise level:
- Reinstall all parts and run the robot. If the noise is significantly reduced, the issue was airflow restriction.
Advanced: If the noise remains very high, with grinding or rattling sounds, the suction motor bearings may be worn. Replacing the suction motor/fan assembly requires opening the robot and should be done by a technician.
