Dustbin Presence / Full Sensor Error
Robot reports E13; dustbin icon may flash and robot refuses to start

Possible Causes
Dustbin not fully inserted, Dirty dustbin sensor contacts, Broken dustbin microswitch, Faulty optical dustbin sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before removing the dustbin.
- 1. Reseat dustbin: Remove the dustbin and reinstall it firmly until it clicks into place.
- 2. Clean contacts: If your model uses metal contacts, wipe both the robot and dustbin contacts with a dry cloth.
- 3. Check for damage: Inspect the dustbin plastic tabs that engage the sensor or switch. If a tab is broken, the robot may not detect the bin.
- 4. Sensor inspection: Look inside the dustbin slot for a small lever or optical sensor. Ensure it is not blocked by dust or debris.
- 5. Replace component: If the robot still reports E13 with a properly seated bin, the dustbin sensor or the dustbin itself may need replacement.
