Possible Causes

Water tank not installed correctly, Empty water tank, Clogged water outlet or filter, Failed water pump

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the water tank. Do not operate the pump dry for long periods.

  • 1. Check tank installation: Reinsert the water tank fully until it clicks. Ensure the mop pad holder is correctly attached if required by the model.
  • 2. Fill tank: Fill the tank with clean water up to the indicated level. Do not use thick detergents unless Rowenta specifies they are allowed.
  • 3. Clean outlets: Inspect the water outlet holes and any small filters on the tank. Rinse them under running water to remove clogs.
  • 4. Prime pump: Start a mopping cycle and let the robot run for a few minutes on a tiled area to allow water to reach the mop pad.
  • 5. Pump diagnosis: If you do not hear the pump running and no water reaches the pad, the pump or its wiring may be faulty and require replacement.
