Possible Causes
Blocked air intake, Severely clogged HEPA filter, Long operation at maximum power, Failing motor bearings causing overheating
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before further testing.
- 1. Cool down: Let the robot rest in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- 2. Clean filters and bin: Empty the dustbin and thoroughly clean or replace the filters as per Rowenta guidelines.
- 3. Inspect air vents: Check all exhaust vents on the robot body for blockages and clean them with a soft brush.
- 4. Reduce power: In the app, set suction to a lower level and test again. If the error disappears at lower power but returns at max, the motor may be aging.
- 5. Replace motor: Persistent overheating with clean filters indicates a failing suction motor that should be replaced.
