Possible Causes
Overheated battery pack, Faulty NTC temperature sensor in battery, Loose battery connector, Charging in very hot or cold environment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the robot or battery feels hot, turn it OFF and unplug the charger immediately. Do not continue charging until cooled.
- 1. Cool down: Allow the robot to cool to room temperature (20–25°C / 68–77°F) before retrying.
- 2. Check environment: Move the charging base to a well‑ventilated area away from heaters, direct sunlight, or very cold drafts.
- 3. Inspect battery: Remove the battery cover and check for swelling, discoloration, or a burnt smell. If any are present, discontinue use.
- 4. Reseat connector: Unplug and replug the battery connector to ensure a solid connection to the main PCB.
- 5. Replace battery: If E19 persists in normal temperatures, the battery pack (with integrated temperature sensor) is likely faulty and should be replaced.
