Robot vacuum stops shortly after starting; E02 displayed; may beep repeatedly and shut down.

Safety first: If the robot feels hot, power it off and let it cool for at least 30 minutes away from flammable materials.

• 1. Allow full cool‑down: Turn the main power switch OFF. Let the robot sit in a cool, dry room until the housing is at room temperature. Then turn it back ON and test again.
• 2. Clean vents and filters: Check the side and bottom ventilation slots on the SilverCrest chassis. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust. Clean the dustbin and HEPA filter to reduce motor load.
• 3. Check for jammed brushes: Remove the main brush module and side brushes. Clear hair and threads from bearings. A jammed brush can overload the motor and trigger battery protection.
• 4. Test without brushes: Run the robot without the main brush and side brushes installed. If E02 disappears, one of the brush motors or the brush itself is causing overload.
• 5. Inspect battery pack: If the robot overheats even with clean brushes and vents, the internal NTC sensor or cells in the SilverCrest battery pack may be failing. Replace the battery pack.
• Stop and service: If you smell burning, see smoke, or the battery swells, discontinue use immediately and seek professional service.
