Possible Causes
Hair wrapped around side brush shaft, Worn side brush hub, Failed side brush motor, Loose side brush motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot before removing brushes.
- 1. Remove side brush: Flip the robot over. Unscrew or pull off the SilverCrest side brush from its motor shaft.
- 2. Clean shaft and hub: Remove hair and debris from the shaft and underside of the brush. Ensure the brush hub is not cracked or deformed.
- 3. Test motor: With the brush removed, power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle. Watch the side brush motor shaft; it should spin freely. If it does, replace the side brush with a new SilverCrest side brush.
- 4. Check wiring (advanced): If the shaft does not spin, remove the bottom cover and verify the side brush motor connector is firmly attached to the main PCB.
- 5. Replace motor: If E07 persists and the motor never spins, replace the SilverCrest side brush motor module.
