Possible Causes

Clogged dustbin or HEPA filter, Blocked suction channel, Failed vacuum fan motor, Loose fan motor connector on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Power off and remove the dustbin before inspection.

  • 1. Empty dustbin: Remove the SilverCrest dustbin and empty all debris. Tap it gently to dislodge fine dust.
  • 2. Clean filters: Remove the primary filter and HEPA filter. Tap them outside to remove dust. If washable, rinse with water and let them dry completely (24 hours) before reinstalling. Never run the robot with wet filters.
  • 3. Check air path: Inspect the suction inlet, brush housing, and internal ducts for blockages. Remove any clumps of dust or objects.
  • 4. Test suction: With the dustbin installed and filters clean, start the robot and feel for airflow at the exhaust. If there is no airflow and E08 appears, the SilverCrest vacuum fan motor may be defective.
  • 5. Inspect wiring (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and locate the fan motor connector on the main PCB. Ensure it is secure. If the motor still does not run, replace the fan motor assembly.
