Possible Causes
Weak Wi‑Fi signal at dock, Incorrect Wi‑Fi password or unsupported band, Failed internal Wi‑Fi module, Antenna cable disconnected
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No electrical disassembly is needed for basic checks.
- 1. Check network: Ensure your router is on 2.4 GHz band (most SilverCrest robots do not support 5 GHz only). Confirm internet access with another device.
- 2. Move dock closer: Place the charging dock within 3–5 m of the router with minimal walls in between.
- 3. Reset Wi‑Fi: Use the Wi‑Fi reset procedure in the manual (often holding a specific button until a tone). Re‑add the robot in the SilverCrest app and carefully enter the correct Wi‑Fi password.
- 4. Disable MAC filtering: If your router uses MAC filtering, add the robot's MAC address or temporarily disable filtering.
- 5. Hardware check (advanced): If E15 persists and other devices connect fine, the internal SilverCrest Wi‑Fi module or antenna may be faulty and require replacement.
