SilverCrest
Boundary Detection Failure
Robot vacuum does not detect virtual walls or magnetic boundary strips.

Possible Causes
Incorrect placement of SilverCrest magnetic strip, Too thick carpet over strip, Faulty magnetic sensor in robot, Firmware not supporting boundaries in current mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal work is required.
- 1. Verify strip placement: Place the SilverCrest magnetic boundary strip flat on the floor with no gaps, directly where you want the robot to stop.
- 2. Test on hard floor: Try the strip on a hard floor surface; very thick carpets can reduce magnetic field strength.
- 3. Correct mode: Ensure boundary features are enabled in the app and that you are not in a special mode that ignores them.
- 4. Sensor failure: If the robot crosses the strip even on hard floor, the internal magnetic sensor may be faulty and require replacement.
