Possible Causes
Empty water tank, Clogged water outlet or filter, Airlock in SilverCrest water tank, Failed electronic water pump (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the water tank before inspection.
- 1. Fill tank: Ensure the SilverCrest water tank is filled to the recommended level and properly sealed.
- 2. Clean outlet: Inspect the water outlet holes and any small filters. Clean them with a soft brush or toothpick.
- 3. Remove airlock: Gently shake the filled tank and press the outlet valve (if accessible) over a sink until water flows steadily.
- 4. Check mop mode: Confirm that mop mode is enabled in the app or on the robot and that the mop pad is installed.
- 5. Pump check (advanced): On models with an electronic pump, listen for pump noise during mopping. If silent, the SilverCrest water pump or its control circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
