Possible Causes
Hair wrapped around caster axle, Worn caster bearing, Broken caster fork, Debris jammed in caster socket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot before removing the caster.
- 1. Remove caster wheel: Pull the SilverCrest front caster straight up from its socket. On some models, the wheel can be separated from the fork.
- 2. Clean axle: Remove hair and debris from the axle and inside the socket. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- 3. Check rotation: Ensure the wheel spins freely and the fork swivels smoothly. If not, replace the caster assembly.
- 4. Reinstall: Push the caster back into the socket until it clicks.
