Possible Causes
Worn drive wheels, Weak drive wheel motors, Overloaded robot due to debris buildup, Damaged front caster wheel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot before inspecting wheels.
- 1. Clean drive wheels: Remove hair and debris from around the SilverCrest drive wheels and wheel wells. Ensure full up‑and‑down suspension movement.
- 2. Inspect tire surface: Check the rubber treads for wear or smoothness. Replace the drive wheel modules if the tires are heavily worn.
- 3. Check front caster: Remove the front caster wheel, clean its axle, and ensure it swivels freely. Replace if cracked or jammed.
- 4. Adjust environment: Use threshold ramps or remove very thick rugs that exceed the robot's climbing specification.
