Possible Causes
Clogged HEPA filter, Blocked suction channel near main brush, Worn main brush bristles, Partially blocked vacuum fan inlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove the dustbin before cleaning.
- 1. Empty and clean dustbin: Remove and empty the SilverCrest dustbin. Wash if the manual allows and dry completely.
- 2. Replace or clean filters: Remove the HEPA and pre‑filters. Tap them gently to remove dust. Replace the HEPA filter every 2–3 months of regular use.
- 3. Inspect suction path: Look into the suction inlet behind the main brush and into the dustbin port. Remove any clumps of dust or objects.
- 4. Check main brush: Inspect the SilverCrest main brush for worn or missing bristles. Replace the brush if it is smooth or deformed.
- 5. Test suction: Run the robot and feel airflow at the exhaust. If airflow is still weak after cleaning, the vacuum fan motor may be partially blocked or worn and may need replacement.
