How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal disassembly is required for basic checks.

  • 1. Clean sensors: Clean the SilverCrest LiDAR window or top camera lens and all front IR sensors.
  • 2. Check wheels: Ensure drive wheels are clean and not slipping on the floor. Remove dust and hair from treads.
  • 3. Remove reflective items: Temporarily remove mirrors on the floor, glass partitions, or highly reflective objects that may confuse sensors.
  • 4. Remap home: Delete the existing map in the SilverCrest app and perform a fresh mapping run starting from the dock.
  • 5. Firmware update: Update navigation firmware via the app if available.
