Speaker cone damaged, Loose speaker connector, Volume set low in app, Audio amplifier fault on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot before opening the housing.
- 1. Check volume: In the SilverCrest app or robot settings, increase the voice volume and test.
- 2. Reboot robot: Power cycle the robot to clear any temporary audio glitches.
- 3. Inspect speaker (advanced): Open the housing to locate the speaker. Ensure its connector is firmly attached to the main PCB and that the speaker is not physically torn.
- 4. Replace speaker: If the speaker cone is damaged or audio remains distorted, replace the SilverCrest speaker module. If there is still no sound, the main PCB audio circuit may be defective.
