How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot and remove it from the dock. Allow it to cool if it feels hot.
- 1. Hard reset: Press and hold the power button for 10–15 seconds (or follow your model's reset procedure) until the robot powers down completely. Wait 30 seconds, then power it back ON.
- 2. Firmware update: If the robot can connect to the app, check for and install any available firmware updates, which may fix stability issues.
- 3. Inspect vents: Ensure all ventilation openings are clear of dust and not blocked by furniture when charging or operating.
- 4. Internal connector check (advanced): Remove the top cover and verify that all ribbon cables and harnesses are firmly seated on the main PCB, especially those for the battery, motors, and sensors.
Warning: If you see burn marks, smell burnt electronics, or the robot will not power on at all, discontinue use. Main PCB replacement is a level-5 repair and should be performed by a professional or authorized service center.
